Director Jo Jarrett
Jo Jarrett has a true passion for property and has over 23 years experience in both the sales and lettings sectors. After working for various national and independent agencies, Jo helped to form a successful high street agency in the North Yorkshire area, before deciding to focus on a new, more modern hybrid approach.
Jo is a professionally qualified estate agent with her accredited NAEA award and is part of the Ombudsman scheme, offering full reassurance to all her clients.
Joanne was born in the seaside town of Bridlington and spent her early life between there and Scarborough before moving to York to study for her degree. She still has many local connections across these areas.
Jo graduated from Ripon and York St John with a BA Hons degree in 2006 whilst working for a popular York-based agency. At the age of 23 she became a manager at a larger corporate estate agency in the Leeds area, going on to run a number of successful branches throughout the Yorkshire regions. She subsequently settled in the now thriving and vibrant market town of Malton, ideally placed between her home town and the city. Here she has lived and worked with her two girls for over a decade, gaining an invaluable insight into all the local areas, amenities, clubs, schools and social scenes.
Jo’s philosophy is simple “back to basics, but with a modern twist”.
“Seeing and being a part of this beautiful town I have seen it grow and develop over the last 16 years, it really is the place to be! Raising my two beautiful daughters in Malton, I have gained a good network throughout the town and feel I am best placed to help and guide others moving in and around the area. Ideally nestled between the historic city of York, the quaint market towns of Pickering, Kirkbymoorside, the stunning North Yorkshire Moors and the coastal towns of Scarborough and Bridlington, Yorkshire is a wonderful place to live”.

I hope to provide a positive and more exciting experience to fit in with families and modern day living. I understand people now lead much busier lives and I feel I am able to relate to the modern-day working family who need more than a 9 to 5 agency. I feel I am best placed to understand and offer what clients require to help make the moving process an easier and more enjoyable one. I offer a simple approach with everything at the click of a button 24/7, whilst also offering the traditional customer-facing approach. I believe I offer great value for money, working with many digital and social media platforms which allows me to save clients costs, with no large overheads. I love what I do, and I do what I love for my clients!”
